What is a ‘bowls buddie?’  

It is a specially designed bowls aid for relieving the symptoms of repeated bending & straightening associated with the bowling action. 

WHAT DOES THE ‘BOWLS BUDDIE’ DO? It helps ensure competitive performance, providing balance & support, easing the pressure on knees, hips and back for a smooth bowling action.  The stem of the rubber foot is flexible, enabling the pole to move freely with your body as you execute your shot.

The Bowls Buddie is made up of two compatible components:

1. The Walking Pole is telescopic, made of high quality, robust, lightweight, aluminium tubing with an ergonomically designed handle, ideally shaped for bowls.

2. The Rubber Foot: The pole inserts into a moulded rubber foot which has a flat circular base, taking the bowler’s weight during the bowling action (also protecting the green). The rubber foot is 10cms across, enabling the pole to stand upright when not in use.      

When off the green, the rubber foot can be removed & replaced by a rubber ‘street’ foot (which is also included as part of the Bowls Buddie combination), enabling the walking pole to also be used like a conventional walking stick, if required.
